Not going into great detail here, but the ice storm we had last week was not without local consequences. I got to work about two hours later than I wanted because of all the blocked roads -- trees down, wires down and, for two of the roads I could have used, a train stopped by a tree down on the track. Took a while to navigate all that shit.
Anyway, we had some local consequences, as well. I mean,
really local. Like this branch down in my back yard:
We also had a tree go down out by the playground across the parking lot. Pretty exciting:
OK, exciting might be the wrong word. But it has been an eventful winter.
