I don't know if this is making up for Martin O'Malley ignoring the roads for 8 years or what, but we seem to be getting some lick-and-a-promise work on Boyers Mill Road the last few days. They are patching only the worst parts, apparently. Like so:

Note how the patches are on both sides of the road. The entire length of the road needs resurfacing, and has for years, but just now, as Marty is running for president, we get some stopgap repairs. Mostly the transportation fund got pissed away on other stuff, but hey, home slice wants to be president, so we better get some repairs done, right?
