Bacon-wrapped doughnuts update: they're really doughnuts!

Oh, yes, food porn will be coming, probably as game food this weekend. The reader who sent met the original picture sent me a link to the recipe. I am all atwitter over the prospect of fixing these, and I mean that in the pre-Twitter sense, as in "on needles and pins," not as in "sending out bunches of 140-character messages." And having used the expression "needles and pins," I leave you with one of Sonny Bono's greatest contributions to Western civilization, as recorded by The Ramones:

I am as big a proponent of bacon porn as there is, but this truly stretches the limits of the envelope (made of bacon, naturally):

Yes, bacon doughnuts. Anyone can sprinkle bacon crumbles on a doughnut. This goes considerably further. The picture was sent to me by a reader with no indication where it came from, though, so I don't know if the is bacon wrapped around bacon, or around doughnuts. I suspect the latter, although Googling "bacon doughnuts" wasn't very helpful. You would not believe how many hits that brings up, images and articles both. Apparently, the original picture (maybe) was Tweeted by somebody going by @SwedishCanary, although it is not clear what is inside. As a happy bit of serendipity, though, while looking for this particular bacon porn, I stumbled across some actual bacon porn:
