Another stupid traffic post

I wasn't going to do this, because traffic hasn't been what I have been shooting for over the last couple months -- wow, it hurt my ears when all those readers shouted, "Post more, Asshole!" -- but on Thursday we passed 85,000 hits for Eff You. It's probably only 20 people who have visited 4,250 times each since the blog started in May 2011, but 85,000 visits is 85,000 visits, I guess. Anyway, thanks for coming by, please keep coming and maybe we can get to 22 or 23 unique visitors. I warn you, though -- you have to carry your share of the load. I expect 4,250 visits from each of you. No slackers.

A post about a milestone for posts -- No. 1,000!

It would appear that on Sunday I posted the 1,000th post for this blog. Looks like it was this one. So that's a milestone, right?

We could totally hit 80,000 visits tonight

Only about 20 away. I realize that major, important, popular blogs do more than that in an hour, as opposed to two-and-a-half years, but this blog is not major, popular or important, so cut me some slack. Plus, if you're doing any shopping on Amazon, please feel free to go to Amazon through the gadget to the right over there. Eff You gets a cut, and it costs you nothing (except coming to Eff You to access the gadget. Small price to pay for sending me some jack. Thanks in advance.)

Stay tuned, because I think I am making banana pudding tomorrow and posting as food porn. (No box mix involved, thank you very much.) Mrs. Wolves, having found the chocolate pie of her you, now is seeking the banana pudding of her youth. I really wish she'd gotten the recipes from her mother. I made four or five different chocolate pies before we found the right one. Not sure I can eat that much banana pudding. We'll see.

We passed 50,000 pageviews this morning. Traffic has been very solid recently by Eff You standards. Thank you for coming by, and I hope you continue to do so. Today might end up with an unusual number of posts, partly to make up for two days without posting, partly because there is a lot going on and partly, perhaps mostly, because at about 6 am, after an hour of trying to find out if I should be venturing out into the snowstorm to go to work, I finally got word that today there is no work to which I can venture out. Shut down. Jury out on tomorrow. Really hope we work tomorrow. Can't afford a mid-week weekend, and I don't have enough beer on hand to stay home for two days.

We just hit 10,000 visitors. Thank you all for your support, and someone in the last hour or so was Number 10,000 and is in line for major gifts and prizes. Not from me, of course, but maybe later in your life. Personally, I have no way of identifying Visitor No. 10,000. Anyway, I'm sure you'll win a door prize or something sometime in your life. Another milestone

Sometime yesterday traffic on this blog passed 9,000 visitors since its inception. Not exactly earthshattering, but hey, I'm reaching beyond my immediate circle of friends, right? Thanks for stopping by.
