Huh. 90,000 visitors. I guess that means something.

Probably not much, because that's probably less than one visitor per f-bomb in the time this blog has been active, but it is something. Anyway, sometime today, we passed 90,000 visitors. Not unique visitors, I don't think, but still, people come back, I guess. Anyway, thanks for coming by, and I'll keep trying to make it worth the effort you put out. Thanks, folks.

Yet another traffic post

Sometime this afternoon, Eff You received hit No. 75,000. For a relatively low-traffic blog like this, that's kind of a big deal, I guess. Or maybe not. Anyway, thanks to all of you for coming by. I hope I can make it worth your while, and I apologize for the hot naked women post yesterday. I can't decide whether to call it an experiment or a shameless traffic-trolling maneuver. Maybe a little of both. Anyway, I won't let it happen again. Unless it works.

We just passed 60,000 views all-time for Eff You. Thank you all for coming by, and I hope you keep coming and tell your friends. I'll keep trying to make it worth your while.

March just became the second-best traffic month for this blog. Sure, no month will ever top November 2012 unless I get another Instalanche (which I don't expect), so being No.2 is kind of a big deal around here. My regular traffic might be pathetic by the standards of big-time blogs, but I'm OK with it. Don't like it? Refer to the title of the blog.

Missed it by that much

Traffic last month fell short of 2,500 by three visits. I was sure I was going to hit 2,500. As it is, 2,497 for January 2013 was about 250 over December 2012. Nothing will ever touch the more than 25,000 we had in November from the Instalanche, but traffic is up sharply over the pre-Instalanche history of this blog. Anyway, thanks for coming by.  Also worth noting, this is the first week in a long time that I have posted at least once every single day of the week, and it is the fifth straight month that I have averaged at least one post per day for the month. That is harder than it sounds. Try it sometime.

Traffic jam

Needless to say, with the Instalanche we set a record for traffic in November with 29,763 visits, easily topping the previous busiest month, June 2011, which had only 1,904 hits. November also brought in visits from Saudi Arabia and Malaysia, countries we have not seen before. I thank everyone who has come by, and I hope you will keep dropping in. When I sent Instapundit my humble request that he link to Time to realize what you voted for, I never thought  he would do it. Well, he did, and now I am here to report on the consequences, at least thus far. So yeah, this is just a mundane traffic post, but boy howdy is it not mundane from my perspective.

First of all, this is the list of countries that have visited Eff You for the first time: Thailand, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, South Korea, Denmark, Colombia and the Philippines. Also, Canada, which I used to rag on for never visiting, went from 2 visitors to 443. That number is doubtless out of date.

How out of date? Let me put it this way. From April 2011 until about 6 pm today, this blog had 12,954 visitors. Beyond my circle of friends, but not exactly setting the world on fire. Since the Instapundit link and the beginning of the Instalanche: 16,370 visitors, and moving up so fast as to render that number impossible to update in any meaningful sense in the short term. I welcome all the new viewers, many of whom have posted comments or joined the blog as followers. Some have linked, liked or reposted the post that brought them here, and for that I thank them. Most of all, I thank Instapundit.

This morning saw the 12,000th visitor to Eff You. Thanks for coming by. Tell all your friends. Or your enemies. Somebody.

Picking up steam

Only three weeks after we passed 11,000 hits, today or tomorrow we will pass 12,000. I'm pretty happy about that. Thank you all.

Well, how about that

For only the second time, traffic on this blog has topped 1,000 hits in a single month. Still growing, of course -- still four days to go in September. Figured it was worth it to blog from behind enemy lines to say thanks for coming by.

Not a bad month

At the moment, only four months in the (short) history of this blog have had more traffic. That could be as little as one by the end of the month. Not bad for a month in which nothing of real note happened, and during which I was either on small projects or, God help me, unemployed. Again, thanks, and keep coming by.

I should pay more attention

Sometime over the weekend, we passed 8,000 hits. Not exactly earth-shaking as blogs go, but thanks anyway to whoever the fuck is clicking here.

New milestone

Yeah, we're closing in on another milestone, page-views wise. Should be in the next couple days, unless shit falls off a cliff.
