But apparently she does. Mischief has taken to sleeping on computer keyboards. No, I don't get it, either:
But there you have it. Desk top units, laptops, doesn't seem to matter. She prefers laptops, however, as pictured here. Go figure.
Everything you never wanted to know about the world of temporary attorneys. And maybe more.
Try it!

Mischief plays footsie; Jeb the Wonder Dog sleeps through it
Mischief is fond of messing with people and her fellow animals alike, feline or otherwise. Beware the person who goes to the basement and comes back up the stairs without keeping an eye out for the black cat poised to take a swipe at your head as you pass her ambush spot.
Her desire to mess with folks does not stop with humans. The other day, Mrs. Wolves caught Mischief smacking Jeb the Wonder Dog, trying to get a rise out of him:
And trying:
And trying:
Poor Mischief. Jeb the Wonder Dog, like Honey Badger, don't give a shit.
Which, I think, calls for a Honey Badger video:

This might be your basic Blue Moon event
We have three cats in the Wolves household. Two of them are sisters, and they are as tight as can be. Regular readers know that I have posted innumerable pictures and videos of Murder and Mayhem being cute. Our third cat, Mischief, is not one of the sisters and largely holds herself apart from them. Lately, she has been spotted being more familial with them, bathing each other and what not. Today, however, we reached a new pinnacle of togetherness not heretofore seen:
That would be Mischief (the black cat) and Mayhem snuggled up, asleep. Wow.

Kitty in a box
You know I'm going to post this shit. We have kit-tay, they do cute things, and Mrs. Wolves takes pictures of them if you had a spouse and s/he sent you pictures for your blog and said, hey, these would be good for your blog, what would you do? If you claim you would ignore the pictures, you are a lying sack of poo. So I put them up. Mischief, apparently very comfortable in a box:
She stayed there a while:
No doubt there will be more kit-tay pictures. get used to it.

Likes plants. Not vegetarian.
Mischief, for reasons known only to Mischief and God, likes to curl up around this plant:
I don't know what kind of plant it is, but it might taste good:
So there you have it. More cat pictures. Mrs. Wolves takes 'em, I post 'em. Happy wife, happy life.

Just taking a walk
Can't lie, I've never seen anything like this. Mischief actually likes going for a walk on a leash:
I know Murder and Mayhem wouldn't go for a leash, nor would have Pikachu or Charmandar -- or any other cat I ever saw. Go figure.

As selfies go, this one is kind of strange
Mischief apparently was weaned too soon, as one of her favorite activities is sucking on Mrs. Wolves' neck. No shit. Here she is, sucking away:
I got no damn idea what to say about all that. Never seen a cat suck anything once it was weaned. Bizarre.

Maybe a little too comfortable
While Mischief has made herself at home, it isn't all good. For instance, she apparently has no qualms about sleeping on Mrs. Wolves' computer keyboard. Here she is having just been awakened in just such a position:
Naturally, she has to get up and stretch when disturbed from her slumber, right? God knows what she typed:
Mostly, she doesn't really type anything -- no this is not the only time she's done this -- she just hits some very strange command key combinations that are very hard to undo and bring forth truly professional profanity from Mrs. Wolves as she tries to fix what her beloved kit-tay hath wrought. Glad I'm a dog person.

It would appear that Mischief has made herself at home
That might be putting it mildly. Sure, here she is stretching out on a chair at Chez Wolves:
Looks pretty comfortable and at home, right? What you can't tell from the picture is that she is in Murder's preferred spot. And she is always in Murder's preferred spot:
And yet, Murder does not, despite her name, appear to hold a grudge, as she cheerfully rips to shreds a roll of paper towels with Mischief's assistance:
I guess everybody is getting settled in.

I post the cute kit-tay photos because I can
Mischief, the third M, is the newest and youngest of our kit-tays, and easily the favorite of Mrs. Wolves. Personally, I would feed all of the M's to Jeb, but they would probably rip him to shreds, as he is a little bit of a wimp. In any event, Mischief is currently winning the Cute Olympics at Chez Wolves:
Murder, who used to routinely occupy that spot, is less enamored of this activity than, say, Mrs. Wolves. Mayhem still has her favorite spot and so is less concerned.

This is why Mischief almost went with Cpl. Wolves
Because she's ridiculously cuddly, that's why:
No, really:
Even Married Into Wolves was ready to test her allergies to keep this kitten. Alas, allergies won. So Mischief is back at Chez Wolves. Which means she is at the mercy of Murder and Mayhem, right? Maybe not:
They seem to be getting along OK at this point. Mischief is fearless, and Murder and Mayhem respect that. Plus, any cat that wants to spend lots of time in the window is cool with M&M. So now we have 3M. I think that puts us one cat away from "crazy cat people." Not happening. No matter what this looks like:

OK, not passing through
The new kitty, recently sent to live with Cpl. Wolves and Married Into Wolves, is back. Apparently allergy medicine and kitty wipes weren't enough to overcome Married Into Wolves' allergies to cats, and so back she came. I think she was named Artemis by the folks we got her from, but we're calling her Mischief. Fits in with Murder and Mayhem, after all. So Mischief, part of the M-cat family again, naturally did what the M-cats do: She went to sit in the front window:
I'm sure she'll fit right in:
Ain't she cute?

She was just passing through
This isn't a cat blog -- unless I say it is, of course -- but we had another kitten pass through this week. Mrs. Wolves was hoping to keep this one, but she moved on to live with Cpl. Wolves and Married Into Wolves. Apparently, they have a strategy to control the allergic effect on Married Into Wolves. Of course, if that doesn't work, I suppose that Mischief will rejoin Murder and Mayhem here. As it is, Mischief, the sweet black kit-tay on the right, is currently named Artemus or something. Here, though, she is face to face with Murder, who finally accepted her into the family:
Mayhem was not as welcoming, although I think she was coming around.

They're cute, what can I say?
Yeah, I post a lot of kit-tay pictures. Mrs. Wolves takes them. She sends them to me. I post them. That is how the world works when you are married.
I don't even know what the basket she is in is used for, but I think that basket actually is set up as a bed for the kit-tays, so she's not getting into mischief. That's Mayhem, by the way.
