Another boring traffic post

July turned out to be the fifth-best month for the blog in terms of visitors. This despite the fact that I didn't even post once a day (29 out of 31 days). Go figure.

On the other hand, I am now ahead of the game for August, at least as far as posting goes. So I have that going for me.

September traffic has been awful. Not the worst ever, and not even the worst post-Instalanche, but pretty damn bad. Of course, if you don't post, they won't come. I've been busy with work, but if you're going to have a blog, you better post. Note to self.

Jeez Louise, another traffic post?

Yeah, looks like we have a pretty good chance of hitting a traffic milestone by the end of the month. Don't want to jinx it, but our 150,000th visitor seems like a good possibility in March. Many blogs do better than that per hour, but this isn't one of them.

Last month exceeded expectations, even taking into account the extra day. Nice to see traffic on the blog is steady, even when I am not. Thanks for coming by, and keep it up.

Traffic on the blog has been mediocre for about 4 weeks -- mediocre by my standards, awful by actually popular blogs -- but things have picked up in the last few days. For those of you contemplating how to drive traffic on you blog, here's is a bit of advice: post. I was so busy with work, family and Cpl. Wolves' wedding, I wasn't posting for days at a time. Folks don't come by for that. They come by for content. So post. So I am.

Just a boring traffic post

Probably the biggest traffic milestone ever for Eff You is coming up in the next day or two -- sometime this week, I will get my 100,000th visitor. Send all your friends by so I can mark the event sooner rather than later. Of less blog-wide significance but at least as important to our Danish readers, Denmark is six visits away from passing Canada for No. 4 on the all-time list.
