Clearly time to find a new job

We had a computer issue Monday that left us unable to work for about 3 hours first thing when we got in -- mostly, of course, because there was no one from the agency here to fix the issue, which was routine, for the first two hours. Those of us who actually get in that early were left thumb-up for all that time. We were getting paid, of course, but the situation still prompted this comment:

The only thing more boring than being here actually doing this job is being here not doing this job.

That, friends, sums up the live of a contract attorney.
