A little dessert food porn for you Super Bowl viewing pleasure

We needed something to go with all that manly food we were fixing for the Super Bowl, something delicate, something to serve as a final punctuation mark on the football season's last sentence, gastronomically speaking. That something proved to be key lime pie. I was hoping to get this post up yesterday, but events intervened. The pie is still really good.

It's not hard. It starts with a graham cracker crust. We learned how to make a graham cracker crust in this post, so I'm not doing it again here. You also will need 3 cups of sweetened condensed milk, 1/2 cup of sour cream, 3/4 cups of lime juice, and about a tablespoon of grated lime zest -- that's the rind, people.

Preheat your oven to 350, then combine the sour cream;

 the condensed milk;

  lime juice;

 and rind and mix it up right.

Pour that stuff into a crust.

Bake at 350 for 5-8 minutes, until tiny bubbles burst on the surface of the pie. Don't let it brown, people. Chill the pie thoroughly before serving. Throw some whiped cream on the sucker if the spirit moves you. It will be good:
