Groundhog Day, Temp Town-style

We got an email yesterday letting us know that today at 9:30 am -- about 20 minutes from now -- we would be undergoing privilege review training. That will make the third time on this project alone, and for many of us it will represent roughly the 4,317th privilege training session we have undergone. And, of course, afterwards, we will conduct our privilege review supervised by staff attorneys at least half of whom will have no fucking clue what actually constitutes a privileged communication. Hint: written by a lawyer isn't enough, or else this blog post would be privileged. Maybe a staff attorney will read that sentence and get a clue. Not likely, unfortunately. Equally sad, far more than half of the temps on the project will have even less idea what actually makes a communication privileged. I can hardly wait to get put on quality control review.
