Happy Veterans Day!

Set to coincide with the armistice that ended fighting in World War I at the 11th minute after the 11th hour, on the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918, Veterans' Day is when we honor the men and women who have put on the uniform and served their country. For me, it's a big thank you to Cpl. Wolves and my father, Maj. Wolves. Three wars between them, and a whole lot of peacetime service, too. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, you and all the other veterans who have served this country. Know that, with the apparent exception of in that white house a few blocks from where I am right now, the country appreciates what you have done -- rough men standing ready.
