More than a third of practicing attorneys in the United States are problem drinkers and 28 percent struggle with depression, according to a new study conducted by the American Bar Association and the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. My first year out of law school, an ABA survey found that 70 percent of lawyers would do something else for a living if they thought they could.
