It is astounding to me how much people have simply submitted to the demands of their state and local governments. Stay home at all costs. Close your business. Lose your job. Considering how often and loudly Democrats have called Trump a fascist, Hitler, dictatorial, and so forth, it is really amazing how he has been criticized for not being authoritarian enough, and how Democrat governors, for the most part, have been so happy to go full authoritarian. You never go full authoritarian.
No one even knows yet if all this is necessary. Maybe it is, and maybe being cautious is good. I'm not sure destroying the economy is worth it. Poverty kills, too, and we're asking people to become poor. Well, not asking -- telling.
