Moving deep into hardcore boredom

 Still plodding along on this project that won't die, and this morning we ran out of work again. It's happened repeatedly, but the firms always seem to dredge up something else. This time, they admitted there is nothing in the pipeline. And yet . . .

We remain employed. A couple government agencies are involved in this project, and until we get a greenlight from them, the firms are unlikely to shut us down. As long as the government can throw another information request our way, the firms will keep us here. Not clear how long that will be, but it looks like it could be a while. In the meantime, we will all do our best to find the end of the internet.

This is a very strange business I am in.
